Advent

Hello everybody! It’s been a while since I blogged here. I’ve been lazy and busy 

Today is first of Advent. The word advent means arrival. And the meaning of it is that we count down to the arrival of Christmas. This was the time when everybody waited for Jesus. So here in the North, we celebrate advent and put up our adventlights in the windows (see pics below). We also light one candle for every Sunday (advent) until Christmas. Like today is the first of advent, next Sunday it will be the second of advent and we’ll light up 2 candles. Yeah you get it It’s really nice actually! It gives us a cozy Christmas feeling, especially now when it is so dark here. I discussed both Advent and Lucia with my Daddy last night. Now you all know about advent, I’ll tell you about Lucia some other time

Mom and I visited a friend of ours too today! Laila! She was selling all her glass art and we wanted to check it out and meet her. She is really good when it comes to glass! I bought a candle holder from her (see pic below). It’s really nice, don’t you think?

I have to get up really early tomorrow because it is an early week in school. I hope Oskar has come back from Singapore. Oskar is my favorite teacher You always laugh when you are on his lessons! He’s a cool guy. Now it is 11:24 pm so I better get some rest soon. I have to catch the 06:41 am train tomorrow! It sucks to get up that early but what can I do? That’s life!

Yeah.. so I better go to bed now and I will write again soon. I’ll try to And tomorrow is Ricky’s birthay! YAY! But it isn’t yet so I won’t say Happy Birthday yet
